GROUPS

We crave connection and are hard-wired for it but unfortunately finding community these days seems harder than ever. Historically, the church was a place where people would go to find the sort of true belonging that so many of us are searching for and we still believe that this is possible. Through groups at CoM we have seen strangers become friends and friends become family. How we’ve organized this effort over time has changed but the heart of it remains the same.

Our current approach to groups is an open-source or free-market system where members are invited to design a group of their own including a reason for gathering, frequency of meeting, location, etc. These groups range from book clubs to bible studies, playdates to professional meetups, singles hangouts to empty-nester supper clubs.
